Bio
Marie Doucet is a French designer/artist based in Prague, Czech Republic. Her favourite material is paper and she shapes it into poetical objects that invite spaciousness and contemplation. She’s become intimately familiar with craft and storytelling through objects since her grandmother taught her how to fold her first origami crane during summer holidays near the Atlantic ocean. Many of her art school projects at the RCA (London) were about movement, dreams, and the invisible. These are elements that can still be found in her creation today.
